Background of your hair
Most hair is imported from Asia & India. if you’re curious, always ask your stylist….also, i recommend watching, “Good Hair”, as it gives a comical view of the hair restoration process. I will explain the process AFTER it is donated. The factory takes the hair, sanitizes it & puts it in a vat where the hair is stripped of it’s virgin color then colored with industrial dyes. This process is equivalent to bleaching your hair then coloring it leaving it in a fragile state. With that being said, it is VERY important to use good quality products.
Here are a list of my personal favorites:
Pureology Colour Fanatic
– Double processed hair tends to get dry & brittle if not properly cared for so it’s important to keep your hair clean & hydrated. Hydrated hair looks healthier.
Pureology is known for their antifade complex ingredients and carry a wide variety of styling aids such as, Hair Spray, Pomade, Root Lift & mousse. If you cannot find Pureology products, look for Professional product lines DO NOT contain Parabens, sulfates or glycerins.
If you follow these simple tips, you will ensure the proper integrity of your hair & will have less problems with tangling, matting or shedding.
